Hey, I’m Rob. Or should I say, “Bob?” I’ve been called both, but for simplicity’s sake, let’s stick with Bob. Look, “Bob” might sound like your average Joe name, but my life has been anything but average.

Early Life

Ever had a Math teacher decide your life for you? In 6th grade, I was officially christened “Bob” by one such teacher, even though I felt like I still had some years left in “Bobby.” I grew up in the Midwest—not by choice, but by circumstance. I’m the oldest of three siblings and have had my fair share of turbulence.

???? Note: I’m not sharing this to garner sympathy. It’s essential for you to know that my journey—especially my fitness journey—started from a place of struggle. It’s been a long road from feeling unwanted to standing where I am today: a place of love, community, and dedication.

Adulthood and Relationships

In my early 20s, I made some questionable decisions. Got married too soon and dove headfirst into a rock and roll band. Guess how that turned out? Yeah, neither stuck. Eventually, I moved into the real estate business, and then something incredible happened—I met my wife, a radiant woman who changed my life. Fast forward to today, and we’re living the kind of love story we never believed was possible two decades ago.

My Health and Fitness Journey

This is the part where you might want to start paying close attention.

Credentials

I’m a Certified Personal Trainer and a Certified Nutrition Coach through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. But let’s be real: what do these credentials mean if I can’t apply them to real life?

The Origin

My fitness awakening occurred around 35 when I realized the clock wasn’t going to stop ticking. Ever felt that way? I started with the P90X program—remember that? It was all the rage at the time. That experience opened a door for me, and I never looked back.

???? Note: When you commit, you evolve. My fitness strategy is no longer the DVD sets; it’s a concoction of intermittent fasting, calorie counting, strength training, and running.

The Daily Hustle

My wife and I have spent a decade committing to health and fitness. Every day, it’s an exploration of exercise and nutrition. We count calories and macros, and we’ve even experimented with standard fasting. We’re not about quick fixes; we’re about lifelong commitment.

Age is Just a Number

I’m not getting any younger, but that doesn’t mean I can’t strive for the best version of myself every single day. The mental game is just as significant as the physical one. Staying motivated is crucial, and I’ve got my eyes set on the journey ahead, not just the destination.

So that’s me in a nutshell. Want to know more? Stick around because I’ve got a ton of knowledge and experience to share.
